Note*The fee schedule listed above for the Planning Commission includes an initial review by the Township`s Planning attorney and by the Township`s professional planner of all above-referenced applications. In the event the application requires additional services, these professional services will be billed to the applicant on an actual cost basis. After the permit is issued, the customer takes the white copy to the Bay County Department of Water and Sewer, 3933 Patterson Road, Bay City where they will pay the connection/meter/inspection fee.  The customer retains the pink copy as his/her receipt.

 

Commercial/Industrial fees are calculated by the Township engineer.

SEWER CONNECTION FEES

DIRECT CONNECTION

DIRECT CONNECTION.

 

Each user whose premises are connected to the public sanitary sewer shall pay a direct connection.

 

 

INDIRECT CONNECTION.

 

The indirect connection fee for residential single family, duplex, site condominiums, condominiums and other similar structures connected directly which were installed at the expense of the owner, sub-divider or developer or by special assessment and not at the expense of the Township or County, shall be calculated as follows:

 

- one direct connection fee of $4,620.00 for the first REU.

            - each REU thereafter to be charged at the rate of $2,310.00 per unit.

 

 

COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL

 

The indirect connection fee for those commercial and industrial uses shall be calculated as follows:

 

- one direct connection fee of $4,620.00 for the first REU.

- each REU thereafter to be charged at the rate of $2,310.00 per Unit.

  (The Township engineer makes a recommendation on Commercial/Industrial)

Zoning Board of Appeals Fees

Note** Applications for variances or for appeals of administrative decisions generally do not require the services of the Township attorney or professional planner. In the event that, in the Township`s sole discretion, any professional services are required by the Zoning Board of Appeals, the cost of such services will be billed to the applicant on an actual cost basis. Such charges must be paid prior to the issuance of any permits by the Township.
