NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO: THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF MONITOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP
Notice is hereby given that the Monitor Township Planning Commission, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the meeting room at the Monitor Township Hall, located at 2483 East Midland Road, Bay City, Michigan 48706, at request of CODA Management Group, representing the owner of the below described property, DACO Real Estate Holdings, LLC, for a special use permit that would entitle them to construct and operate a self storage facility with drive-up buildings, covered RV boat and trailer storage and open storage in a climate control stage. The property for which this special use permit is sought is 3868 Two Mile Road, Bay City, Michigan 48706 with parcel number 09-100-012-400-050-00. This property is zoned C, designated as general commercial and this type of use is permitted in the commercial zone but only pursuant to a special use permit authorized by the Planning Commission.
You are welcome to attend. You may inspect the site plan and supporting documentation available at the Monitor Township Hall, 2483 East Midland Road, Bay City, Michigan, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. During those hours, written comments will be received at the Monitor Township Office prior to the time of the hearing.
The Charter Township of Monitor will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and readers for printed materials being considered at the hearing, to individuals with disability who are present at the hearing, upon ten (10) days notice.
