Notice of Public Hearing-Stone Meadow Condominiums

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TO:      THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF MONITOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP

Notice is hereby given that the Monitor Township Planning Commission, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the meeting room at the Monitor Township Hall, located at 2483 East Midland Road, Bay City, Michigan 48706, at request of the owner of a parcel of property Stone Meadow Condominiums, LLC to rezone the property from an R-1 Planned Unit Development (R-1 PUD) to a conventional R-1 zoning, being low density single family residential district.  It is necessary, in order to comply with the Monitor Township Zoning Ordinance, being Ordinance 67, as well as the State Zoning Statutes, that the Planning Commission conduct a public hearing on a request for rezoning a parcel of property.  The property, had many years ago, been zoned a normal or conventional R-1 but due to the desires to the owner and contractor, an R-1 Planned Unit Development (R-1 PUD) was approved which would allow only certain structures and facilities as had been agreed to on an approved development plan.

The parcel of property is generally located on S. Two Mile, Bay City, Michigan 48706, slightly north of the intersection of Fisher Road, and is legally described as:

You are welcome to attend.  You may inspect the site plan and supporting documentation available at the Monitor Township Hall, 2483 East Midland Road, Bay City, Michigan, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.  During those hours, written comments will be received at the Monitor Township Office prior to the time of the hearing.
