2023 Board of Review
The Monitor Township Board of Review for 2023 will be held at the Monitor Township Hall, 2483 Midland Road, Bay City Michigan on the dates and times listed below. In-person and virtual appointments for assessment appeals are required and can be made by calling (989) 684-7203. Appeals can also be made and submitted in writing and mailed to: 2483 Midland Road, Bay City MI 48706, Emailed to: assessor@monitortwp.org and/or deposited in our secure 24-hour drop box. The required Petition Appeal Form #618/L-4035 can be found online at our website www.monitortwp.org or can be mailed or emailed to you if a timely request is received.
NOTICE: FOR ALL APPEALS: Written Appeals: Petition Form #618/L-4035 and all supporting documentation MUST be received in our offices on or before Friday, March 10, 2023, by 4:00 pm. If you have an in-person appointment you are welcome to submit your supporting documentation at the time of your appointment, but a brief summary of your appeal must be documented prior to your arrival on Petition Form #618/L-4035.

It is suggested that you call for a record review with the Assessor prior to the March Board of Review. The tentative ratios for each class of real and personal property for 2023 are as follows:

Virtual Meetings. In the event that future guidance requires us to meet by electronic means, an updated public notice will be posted not less than 18 hours prior to the meeting at the township hall and on the website at www.monitortwp.org. The notice will include the specific telephone number and/or internet address to attend via phone or computer and offer information to assist those with inadequate access or skills required to participate.
