Notice to All Voters:  Photo ID Now Required

Due to recent changes in election law, all voters appearing at the polls must show a government-issued or school-issued photo I.D. prior to voting.  In the event that you do not have any valid identification, you will be required to sign an affidavit attesting to that before being allowed to vote.  Please contact the Clerk`s office for more information.

Voter Registration Opportunities

1. In person - Monitor Township Clerk`s Office during regular business hours

2. Mail-In - Voter registration forms are available online on this site, at the Monitor Township Office, or at www.michigan.gov/vote By law, voters registering by mail must appear in person at a polling place the first time they vote.

3. Any Secretary of State`s Office - Important Notice:  Michigan law now requires that the same address be used for voter registration and driver`s license purposes. Therefore, if the residence address you provide when registering to vote differs from the address shown on your Michigan driver`s license or personal identification card, the Secretary of State will automatically update your driver`s license or personal identification card address and mail you an address update sticker for your driver`s license or personal identification card.
